Technical Product Manager
Location: Australia (remote-friendly)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're partnering with a growing technology company to find an experienced Technical Product Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially-minded PM with a technical foundation who enjoys working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams to shape product direction and drive real business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Define and own the product roadmap and strategy for a key platform/product area
• Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to translate technical capabilities and customer needs into features and requirements
• Get into the technical detail with engineers on architecture, scalability, and platform design trade-offs
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
• Partner with sales and customer success to understand customer pain points and validate product-market fit
• Define pricing, packaging, and go-to-market approaches
• Build business cases to support product investment decisions
• Define technical success criteria, SLAs/SLOs, and platform performance metrics
• Set and track product KPIs and success metrics
• Lead cross-functional planning and stakeholder alignment across technical and commercial teams
• Present to and engage with senior stakeholders and customers, including technical audiences

What You'll Bring

• Several years of product management experience, ideally in technology, SaaS, platform, or infrastructure businesses
• A technical background or strong technical fluency — comfortable in architecture and engineering discussions
• Experience working closely with engineering, infrastructure, or platform teams day-to-day
• Strong commercial acumen and comfort with pricing and business case development
• Experience taking technical products from concept through to launch and scale
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making
• A customer-first mindset
