Position:Marketing Manager, MBG Japan
Job Objective:This role would be responsible for developing marketing plans and activities for smartphone product lines for Japan market
Role Description
Key Responsibilities
- End to End Marketing Campaign Planning for Japan smartphone products
- Driving consumer demand / sell-out for Motorola products in Japan
- Media planning, execution and optimization for all product line on all relevant channels
- Develop and execute media plans
- Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
- Develop and monitor campaign budgets
- Management and coordination with all relevant internal (Finance, SCM, eCom, Product - India and global) and external stakeholders (Media agency, creative agency, PR agency, ecommerce partner)
- Drive and deliver on brand and marketing funnel metrics that enable and results in final sales metrics
- Drive, Track, Monitor and report consumer insights through consumer research, consumer reviews/comments (Social and eCommerce) and Sentiment (Social)
- Adapt global creative assets for local consumption or develop local communication for specific use cases.
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners to ensure brand deliverables
Skills Required
- 10+ years of marketing experience for smartphones or consumer electronic products (Full time MBA degree is preferred)
- Very strong experience of media planning and marketing communication – digital. ATL experience would be good to have
- Strong experience of working with eCommerce marketplaces and retail
- Experience of product marketing a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills including proficiency in English
- Experience working with a team and delivering results in a fast-paced setting
