About the role

In this role you will be part of the Community and Communications team and you will report into the Communications Lead.
Your will work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders across the organisation to define, produce and promote a cohesive organisational narrative that aligns to the vision, mission and values of GMCT and positions the organisation as a leader in the sector.

You will be a confident communicator & forward thinker who has the ability to inspire collaboration and engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Copy write and produce the annual report, strategic/annual plan, executive and Trust speeches and speaking notes, and other corporate publications as required
  • Review, improve and embed communications policies, procedures, guidelines, resources and editorial standards
  • Provide training and ongoing support balanced with driving compliance to accessibility standards and legal requirements
  • Develop content for GMCT's social and digital communications platforms and channels.
  • Plan, develop and deliver communications inductions and training sessions for content owners and teams to foster a GMCT-wide commitment to quality communications

Who are we looking for?

You are a proven performer in a communications, media relations or marketing role and it is time for your next challenge. You have worked in an environment that is a mix of white and blue-collar and within a global framework.

You are systems savvy, you will know your way around various platforms. Your expertise is creating communications and how they can impact the business through change, your ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and present in an engaging and informed way will see you gain business credibility and traction.
