About the Unit

The role of the UTS Advancement Unit (AU) is to build philanthropic support for the university’s strategic priorities through sustained and mutually beneficial relationships with individuals, the community, corporates, trusts and foundations.  Additionally, the AU is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with over 260,000 alumni of UTS through a program of publications, communications, events and services.

About the Role

UTS Advancement Unit is recruiting an Advancement Customer Experience (ACX) Asset Producer responsible for producing design, animation and a diverse portfolio of digital assets to meet philanthropic and alumni strategic goals, project management of fundraising and engagement pieces and moving stakeholders through the Advancement Customer Journey with the ACX team. The role is crucial to bringing human-centric innovative design principles to deliver a gold standard experience to our customers.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee all aspects of asset production, including project management and production of innovative, engaging and best practice mass and bespoke fundraising and alumni assets across print and digital media to meet philanthropic and alumni strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the ACX team to deliver high quality, winning fundraising pitches and proposals, mass and bespoke appeals, events, engagement and stewardship materials.
  • Coordinate and produce video and digital media assets, overseeing schedules and processes, and all aspects of pre-production, production, post-production including quality assurance.
  • Create and coordinate the production of high quality content for internal and external audiences, rich in text, film, visuals and audio, for mass and bespoke fundraising, and alumni campaigns and projects.
  • Utilise the Advancement Customer Experience (ACX) Strategy to build and nurture Advancement relationships with UTS at each lifecycle stage.
  • Promote and generate opportunities for creative thinking and innovation for the Advancement Customer Experience and translate ideas into improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Superior graphic design, storytelling, animation, photography and digital production skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to initiate projects, work independently and flexibly, manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience with web content management, EDM and CRM database systems.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and persuasively across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, with a constant focus on customer outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in customer service and in developing and managing charitable appeals, engagement or loyalty marketing campaigns.

 Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $96,313 to $106,545 pa

 This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

 This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
