Job Title: Solution Architect - Production Management / AMPLA
Location: Brisbane / Perth Australia
Employment Type: Full-time, regular, hybrid work arrangement
The job
As a Solution Architect within the Service Delivery team, you will lead the technical delivery and implementation of AVEVA Production Management (Ampla) solutions. This role includes hands‑on project delivery, technical consulting, solution design, and pre‑sales support.
Key responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of AMPLA / Production Management projects
Conduct technical workshops, solution design, configuration, and deployment
Provide troubleshooting and performance optimization
Support project scoping, estimation, and risk assessment
Pre‑sales support: technical workshops, solution shaping, effort estimation, proposal inputs
Develop solution architectures and integration designs
Build reusable templates, libraries, and accelerators
Customer engagement and technical leadership
Mentor delivery consultants and collaborate with product teams
Essential requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on MES/OT/IT delivery experience
Proficiency in C#, .NET, REST, SQL
Strong communication and consulting skills
Desired skills
Preferred – MMM / Mining Background:
Experience in mining, minerals processing, or MMM industries
Familiarity with mining operational workflows and production processes
Experience with MES/AMPLA in mining environments
Beneficial:
Experience with AVEVA products (Ampla, PI, MES, Work Tasks)
CI/CD, ESB technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka), automated testing
Knowledge of SOLID, TDD, cybersecurity best practices
