- Senior Product Manager
Description
12-Month Secondment Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Product, this role contributes to the development of new products, the management of our existing product portfolio and supports project implementation and delivery. The role works closely with insurers and key internal stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver to the needs of customers including Sales, Marketing and Operations teams.
You will:
- Contribute to the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing product solutions
- Ensure product solutions align to the needs of consumers, whilst also being competitive and compliant
- Contribute to global product management – AU, NZ and CA
- Maintain and co-ordinate responses to external product requests
- Maintenance of all customer product collateral for all product portfolios including premium tables, PDS’s, product specifications etc.
- Maintain project requirements and deliverables, representing Product in various internal project deliveries and launches
- Manage regular product changes, liaising with Marketing, Sales, Technology and Legal, Risk and Compliance departments
What are we looking for?
- 5 -10 years experience in the life insurance industry
- Experience in product development and portfolio management
- Ability to drive product development through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of life insurance products, competitor offerings and the current market
- Combination of technical aptitude, commercial, product management and decision-making skills
- Ability to solve complex problems with consideration to business and customer impact
- High energy, self-motivated and driven to achieve strong results and performance
- Self-managed with highly developed time management skills
