This is a hands‑on Production Manager role overseeing day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and team leadership across a rapidly growing site. You'll lead the production team through a major scale-up phase, including the introduction and commissioning of a new high speed production line.

Description

Responsibilities of the Production Manager:

• Reporting to the GM, the Production Manager is responsible for leading people, plant, and performance across the site.
• You will drive execution of the master production schedule, uphold strict product quality and food safety standards, partner closely with Maintenance, QA, R&D, and Planning, manage labour resources, and deliver on key KPIs including safety, efficiency, and cost.
• The role is hands‑on, requiring strong troubleshooting capability, effective communication, and continuous improvement focus especially during the commissioning and optimisation of the new production line.

Profile

A successful Production Manager must have the following skills:

• Experienced Production Manager or a Senior Supervisor with people leadership experience ready to step up with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership capability, a practical and solutions‑focused approach, and experience in people development, plant troubleshooting, and implementing improvements.
• You thrive in growing environments, can mentor and elevate existing supervisors, and are comfortable working flexibly across the day to support site operations, including during high-activity commissioning phases.
