About the role:

As the Production Manager, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process and workforce, ensuring all products are made safely and within the required specifications. You’ll work closely with line leaders and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Directing the day-to-day operations of the plant;
• Ensuring a safe working environment according to all policies and legislation;
• Implementing LEAN manufacturing to continuously improve production processes, enhance efficiency, improve quality, reduce costs and minimise waste;
• Leading the team (~47) to ensure maximum performance and productivity;
• Overseeing the manufacturing department’s financial performance, including optimising people utilisation, material usage and production efficiency; and
• Monitoring and reporting on manufacturing performance.

About you:

To be successful in the role, you will have an extensive background in manufacturing management and continuous improvement methodologies. You will also be proficient in utilising a data-driven approach to solve process inefficiencies and possess high level change management skills to influence and engage diverse teams at all levels.
