More about the Global Brand Partnerships Marketing Manager - China Region role at Uber
About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned marketing manager with deep executional experience across China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US (US 4th priority). This role is critical to supporting our accelerated 3P Demand pipeline in APAC, ensuring flawless delivery of complex multi-market IMCs.
The right candidate is a hands-on campaign executor, comfortable managing tight timelines, multiple deliverables, and senior stakeholders. They will partner closely with a Marketing Lead, stepping in to manage execution and communication when the lead is offline or out of timezone.
Key strengths we’re looking for:
Executional excellence — End-to-end integrated marketing campaign (IMC) delivery experience; ability to manage high-volume creative asset production and dispatch across channels. Must have led marketing campaigns before.
Media expertise — Must have proven experience executing campaigns in China (WeChat, Red, Douyin, Qunar, search) and Southeast Asia (esp. Singapore: search, social, online travel partners). Must be able to talk to these media platforms. One role is to have Chinese experience and the other role to have SEA experience - one person does not need both.
Stakeholder management — Confidence engaging senior executives on media plans and results when needed; trusted to represent the team across time zones.
APAC — Must be flexible to work in later time zones, given both core contacts and media agencies will be 2 hours before SYDNEY.
Language — Preference for native Chinese speaking lead for one of these roles. Preferably someone who can speak native Chinese and also understand HK traditional Chinese.
What You’ll Do
Manage campaign delivery for 3P partnerships (e.g WeChat partnership) in APAC, working in lockstep with the Campaign lead.
Drive execution across cross-functional teams, BD, and Ops to align on partnership deliverables and launch timings.
Support partner marketing strategy and external partner relationships.
Provide continuity with senior stakeholders across multiple markets and time zones.
Use G-Suite for all communication and to track partner performance, extract insights, and recommend improvements.
Prepare clear, succinct XFN updates and contribute to senior-level monthly presentations.
Be knowledgeable in data analytics and be able to understand and speak to Measurement Plans (not just paid media performance).
Basic Qualifications
6+ years in marketing with extensive brand campaigns and IMC delivery experience.
Strong project management skills with a proven record of owning end-to-end campaign execution.
High attention to detail, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple launches simultaneously.
Must have flexibility to work later APAC hours (core contacts and agencies often 2-4 hours behind Sydney)
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present with confidence.
Skilled in stakeholder management, influencing across levels and functions.
Experience in fast-paced, complex organisations.
Strong data and analytical capabilities.
Before we jump into the responsibilities of the role. No matter what you come in knowing, you’ll be learning new things all the time and the Uber team will be there to support your growth.
